1. Introduction

Portfoliofy (“Portfoliofy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a service operated by Universal Net Solutions FZ-LLC that lets you build, customize, and publish a personal portfolio website. These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of our websites, apps, and services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make a material change, we will update the date above and, where feasible, give notice in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.

3. Your account

You sign in with a one-time email code or a connected Google account. You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping access to your email and account secure, and for everything that happens under your account. Do not share your access with others. Tell us promptly at support@portfoliofy.io if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

4. Plans and billing

Portfoliofy offers a free tier and paid plans (Start, Hustle, and Pro), billed monthly or annually through our payment processor, Stripe, at the prices shown on our pricing page. Paid plans include a 14-day free trial with no card required. The trial gives you Pro-level features regardless of which plan you pick, with five exceptions that begin only when you subscribe to a plan that includes them: template switching, a custom tab icon, connecting your own domain (available on annual plans), hiding the “Made with Portfoliofy” badge, and full rewrite quotas (a trial is limited to 20 section rewrites and 3 portfolio rewrites per month). The trial does not convert to a paid subscription, and nothing is charged when it ends. Your account simply moves to the free tier until you choose to subscribe, at which point you add a payment method and billing begins.

• Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
• Cancellation. You can cancel any time from your billing settings. Access to paid features continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
• Taxes. Prices may not include taxes. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase.

5. Pricing and subscription changes

We may change plan prices and features. If a change affects your active subscription, we will give you reasonable notice, and it will apply from your next renewal. The price shown at checkout applies to your current billing cycle.

6. No refund policy

Except where required by law, all payments are final and non-refundable. We do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused time, or after cancellation or account termination.

7. User conduct and restrictions

You agree not to use the Service to:

• break the law or infringe anyone’s rights;
• publish content that is unlawful, deceptive, hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative, or that impersonates another person;
• upload malware, or attempt to probe, scan, overload, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
• scrape or harvest data from the Service except as expressly allowed, or resell the Service without our permission;
• send spam or use a published portfolio mainly to distribute unsolicited messages or malicious links.

8. Username and address policy

When you publish, your portfolio is served at a Portfoliofy subdomain (for example, yourname.portfoliofy.io). Your chosen username and address must not infringe intellectual property rights or be offensive, misleading, or impersonating. Subdomains are provided for your use while your account is active; we may reclaim, change, or restrict a username or address where necessary, for example to resolve a dispute, protect the Service, or comply with the law.

9. Domain management

Free portfolios are served on a Portfoliofy subdomain. Eligible paid plans can connect a custom domain that you own and manage separately. You are responsible for that domain, including its registration, renewal, and DNS. We are not responsible for issues caused by your domain registrar or DNS provider.

10. Your content and intellectual property

You own the content you add to Portfoliofy, including your text, images, links, and the portfolio you publish (“Your Content”). You keep all rights in Your Content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, and display Your Content only as needed to operate and improve the Service, such as storing your files, rendering your portfolio, and showing it to visitors at your address. This license ends when you delete Your Content or close your account, except for content that visitors or search engines may have already cached, and for backups we keep for a limited time.

You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the rights to use and publish it. The Service itself, including our software, templates, brand, and design, belongs to us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under these Terms; using a template to build your portfolio does not transfer ownership of the template to you.

11. AI-assisted copy

Portfoliofy can generate suggested copy for your portfolio based on the answers you provide. This copy is a starting point. You are responsible for reviewing and editing what you publish, and for making sure it is accurate and true to you. We do not guarantee that generated copy is unique, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

12. Portfolios that aren’t allowed

You may not use Portfoliofy to publish a portfolio or site that collects data without a clear and lawful purpose, impersonates a person or organization, deceives visitors, facilitates fraud or phishing, distributes malware, or otherwise breaks the law or infringes third-party rights. We may remove content or suspend accounts that we reasonably believe break these rules.

13. Termination and enforcement

You can stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access, without notice and without refund, if you break these Terms, if we are required to by law, or to protect the Service or other users. When your account closes, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete Your Content after a reasonable period, subject to our Privacy Policy and any legal obligations.

14. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties, such as our hosting, database, payment, AI, and email providers, and may link to or integrate with sites we do not control. We are not responsible for third-party services or content, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms.

15. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Portfoliofy and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event that gave rise to the claim, or one hundred US dollars if you paid nothing. You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms, to the extent allowed by law.

16. Privacy and data handling

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal data. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in that policy.

17. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ras Al Khaimah for any dispute that is not first resolved through good-faith negotiation, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
